Today is a very special day at Sauchie Childminders as we say "see you later" to some of our wonderful wee ones.

A huge good luck to Millie, Naomi, Billie, Lachlan and Rudi as they begin their exciting new adventure at school today, and to Lyla, who starts nursery on Friday.❤️💙❤️💙

Watching each of you grow in confidence, learn new skills, make friends and fill our days with laughter has been such a privilege. We have shared so many wonderful adventures and made so many happy memories together, and while we'll miss having you with us every day, we couldn't be prouder of the amazing little people you've become.

This is another exciting step on your journey, and we know you'll all shine brightly wherever you go. Keep being kind, curious and brave, believe in yourselves, and never stop reaching for the stars.🌟🌟🌟

Good luck to our little ones. We are all so proud of you and can't wait to hear all about your new adventures. ❤️⭐

🚂🌧️ Rain? What rain?! 🌧️🚂

A soggy start to the day didn't stop the adventures at Sauchie Childminders! Waterproofs on, smiles ready, and off we marched to the train station for our trip to Glasgow's Transport Museum. 🚶‍♀️🚆

A huge shout out to our amazing ScotRail conductor, who was so helpful and had the children laughing from the moment we stepped onboard. The station staff were brilliant too, making sure we found all the right trains without any last-minute sprints! 🙈🙈

The Transport Museum never disappoints. There were so many incredible exhibits to explore, and our museum bingo challenge was in full swing. We were so close to a full house... but those elusive skipping ropes clearly had other plans! 🧐😂

As always, our little adventurers were an absolute credit to themselves—kind, polite, curious, and once again the best behaved wherever we go. They really do make every outing a pleasure. ❤️
Happy kids + happy childminders = another fantastic summer adventure! 🥰

Everyone made it home safe, tired, and full of stories to tell.

Now the big question is... 🤔

🚶‍♀️🌳 Today's mission: Walk to Sterling Mills... and somehow make it back with the same number of kids we left with! ✔️😂 Mission accomplished.. Phew !!!!!

What a cracking day we had! We headed off on a long nature walk to Sterling Mills, stopping to inspect every interesting stick, leaf and bug along the way. Because apparently every stone has to be investigated.. and every animal along the way needs a conversation. 🐴🐮🐶

Once we finally made it to the park, there was plenty of running, climbing, laughing and burning off enough energy to (hopefully!) guarantee an early bedtime for Mums and Dads... (you're welcome! 😜)

A huge shout-out to our big schoolies who looked after our little walkers like absolute champions. You were patient, kind and encouraging every step of the way. We couldn't be prouder of you all. ❤️. And all our little walkers, you made us so proud too, what an amazing job you all did, it's amazing the power of a Haribo to keep little legs trundling along. 🤣🤣

Honestly, it was just brilliant seeing kids being kids. No screens, no worries – just fresh air, rosy cheeks, big imaginations and laughter echoing through the park. That's what childhood is all about, no fancy plans, just good friends and fun. 😁😁

Today was also Lachlan's last full day at Pauline's. 😢💙 What a character you've been! Your random comments, hilarious wee expressions and ability to have us all laughing will be so missed. 💙🥺

🎉 Big news from Sauchie Childminders! 🎉

After what felt like approximately 7,492 cups of coffee and a very stressful tender process... we're absolutely delighted to announce that Sauchie Childminders can continue to be approved funded childcare providers! 🥳.

What does this mean?

✨ We can provide the 1140 hours of funded early learning and childcare, just like local nurseries, for👶 Children from age 3, and 👶 Eligible 2-year-olds.
This gives families even more choice, with all the benefits of a warm, home-from-home childminding environment.

To say we're over the moon would be an understatement. We might even allow ourselves a whole weekend of celebrating before diving back into the fun! 🍾🎈

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. We can't wait to welcome more little ones and continue doing what we love most—helping children learn, grow, and thrive. 💛
