🥁 Introducing new Alloa Drum Lessons tutor, Murray! 🥁

Hi there, my name is Murray! I am a Glasgow-based drummer and percussionist, with around 13 years’ experience with different bands and ensembles. Previously a music student at The University of Aberdeen, graduating with a First Class BMus with Honours, I am very fortunate to be gigging across the UK with a variety of bands. I look forward to sharing my passion for drums with you, and can’t wait to explore new challenges in our lessons.

Qualifications:
BMus (Hons) Music – 1st Class from the University of Aberdeen
Grade 8 Drums (Distinction) - Trinity College London (Classical and Jazz)
Grade 5 Music Theory - ABRSM
PVG member
Musicians Union member

🥁 Introducing the Newest Addition to Alloa Drum Lessons: Kenny! 🥁

He graduated from The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland's prestigious Jazz programme with a degree in Jazz. Kenny is a multifaceted drummer and is a constant collaborator with artists in the Scottish music scene such as; BEMZ, Lewis Ross, Rachel Duns and many more.

🎵🥁WANTED: Drum Teacher at Alloa Drum Lessons! 🥁🎵

We're excited to announce that Alloa Drum Lessons is expanding and we're seeking a drum teacher to join the team!

The new teacher will deliver lessons on a mutually agreed weeknight and/or Saturday/Sunday daytime. There is a degree of flexibility around this.

What we are looking for:
Strong proficiency in drumming.
Prior experience in teaching is a plus, but not essential.
Ideally a qualification in drums or music (Grade 8/HND/Degree etc)
Excellent communication skills and patience.
A valid PVG would be advantageous

Ultimately we are looking for a trustworthy and skilled individual, so do not let formal qualifications/lack of experience stop you from applying.
