A morning river walk

This morning we’ve had a visit to hospital to get my bloods done. We had a great nurse who explained to the children each step of what she was doing. This is a fantastic learning opportunity for the children to experience and they asked lots of questions, noticed signs in and around the hospital and talked about past experiences.

We have some new chicken in my family, so this morning we popped round to meet them! 🐓

The children have begun their morning with compare bears and vehicles. All playing and sorting in different ways!

Soft play at the farm

We’ve made the most of the weather and found some snails in the garden to observe. 🐌
The children noticed the spiral pattern and we used our new doodling pads to practice spirals. 🌀
The children named the snails Slimey and Flowery.
We thought of other words which rhyme with snail, and Ru noticed the word snail began with the letter S.
Now everyone is snuggled watching The Snail and the Whale.
