FAO ATTENTION OF GED AND MATT
11AM ON THE 4TH OF JANUARY AT THE GENESIS CENTRE IS OUR FIRST LESSON BACK.

Well......that 12 months of training has just rocketed by.
Congratulations to all the award winners.
All of you earned your trophies with hard work and dedication plus a huge helping of talent.
Thank you for the effort all of our teammates have given throughout the year.
We are first up again on the 4th of January.
11am at the genesis centre.
Enjoy the break and have a great time over the next few weeks.

🎉 great way to finish the year welcoming two new members of the instructing team 🎉 Jon Davies and David Allen-Ashcroft from the Matlock class have successfully completed the Coach Confirmation Programme, competing practical delivery of classes across all our clubs as well as building their skills in the behind the scenes parts of being an instructor including health & safety, safeguarding and customer service 👍😀 both have worked tirelessly to achieve this amazing milestone to be awarded their Blue trousers and will be opening clubs of their own in early 2026 🎉 huge thanks to the existing team who have helped on their journey and especially Adam Sharman, Matlock class instructor for all his hard work 💪

Unfortunately for whatever reason that I can't fathom the photos of the fighters who competed this Sunday just gone will not upload.
I will keep trying.
But that said we can still applaud your efforts
To Ged...mate huge respect for the fighting spirit you showed throughout every bout which culminated in a Silver medal. Brilliant effort
To Dave......kept going and going and going until you fought your way to a gold medal. Never throwing kicks and punches . Like a whirlwind. Amazing.
To Rowan......The skill levels shown and the bravery when matched against much bigger opponents was humbling to watch. To then want to carry on fighting after that......!!!! Then to come away with 2 golds and a sliver. Incredible performance.
To Zach.....to win every category you entered takes stamina endurance and skill. But it also takes Heart and fortitude. To come away with 3 gold medals is a fabulous achievement.Awewome
As a club we are incredibly proud of you.
To coaches Martin and Jon thank you for your help in preparing the fighters.
We are blessed to have you .
Let's not forget that without all the other fighters that stepped into the combat arena nobody would have won a thing as there wouldn't be any medals to win.
Everyone who put themselves forward to fight last weekend should be proud of themselves.
