What We Do:

We, unlike many petting zoo's out there actually rescue the animals that we show, and when they are well enough they are then taken to schools and nurseries etc. We are not a charity and we do not get any funds from the government, we depend entirely upon the income from birthday parties, schools and nurseries, and of course donations from the general public. We take our collection of animals to schools, and nurseries, to teach the children all about them. We take our animals to open days, fete's and fayres. Together with this we also find that as our animals are therapeutic, we take them to nursing homes. Finally, our animals (unlike most pets) get the chance to go to birthday parties and special celebrations.

Our Products And Services:

BIRTHDAY PARTIES - We aim to cater for you and your child's needs on their special day! Whether you have a child that loves creepy crawlies, or is more into the cute furries that we have, you are sure to have a day to remember. Our birthday party shows are normally an hour long, and each child will get the chance to handle some or all of the animals. We will also create a birthday card for your child providing that you supply us with the spelling of your child's name and the age. EDUCATIONAL VISITS - We want learning to be fun and 'hands-on' We aim to teach the children all about our animals, their natural habitats, what they eat, and most importantlly how to care for them. Each child may handle, or touch, or stroke the animals if they so wish. We would like to impart some of our knowledge on the teachers too!! We have several specific shows tailored for Primary Schools, proving to be very popular, just some of these are: 'Welcome to the Woodland', 'Love our Pets', and, 'Animals and their Babies'.

'Camouflage Creatures' is an hour long show, which provides a detailed explaination to children about animals in the wild and the ways in which they use camouflage to either protect them or to assist them in catching their prey. We bring a selection of animals that have camouflage and will also explain all about their behaviour in the wild.

'Welcome to the Woodland' is an hour long show, which provides and educational talk and display on the animals that we have, that would be found in their natural habitat in the woodland. We will bring a selection of animals and explain all about them, their behaviours, the importance of protecting the woodland around us, and what the children can do to help woodlands of the future.

'Love our Pets' is also an hour long show, this gives all an explaination into the importance of caring for our animals, the things that people must consider before getting a pet, what makes a good, and a bad pet owner. Throughout the show we will also allow the children to touch the animals involved.

'Animals and their babies' is a one hour show where we will explain about the different reproductive systems of each animal. We will explain about animals that lay eggs, animals that have live young, and many other interesting facts. We will bring various animals to the show, explaining how each one has it's babies. We can also tailor our shows to a topic that your class mayt be learning, so if there is something specific you are looking for, we are more than happy to help! NURSING HOME VISITS - Animals can be very theraputic. We have found that elderly, or impared people often feel a great benefit from being given the opportunity to feel the animals, whether they are furry, slimey, or scaley, we have something for everyone. OPEN DAYS - If you are planning an open day for village fair, then why not consider booking the Mobile Mini Zoo? We will provide a unique, and entertaining display, allowing all to touch and handle the animals we have. Discounts are available for longer bookings, and our prices are very reasonable.

We cover the following areas within the UK -
Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Some Lincolnshire and Sheffield. We charge by the hour (This is 1 hour of animal handling as we do not charge for setting up or packing away)
All our prices are inclusive of travelling expenses and costs, so the price you are quoted is the price you will pay.
