EPA Quality - The Matrix Journey📍

Matrix Accreditation has long been an accepted recommendation for apprenticeship providers - a way to prove they have robust systems for engaging with apprentices and employers.

We weren't required to get it as an EPAO. But we felt we had a choice to make.

Our team sat around the table discussing it: 'If we truly believe our engagement and support systems are as good as we say they are, shouldn't we be willing to put them to the test?

The reality hit us - EPA can be daunting for apprentices. If we weren't providing the absolute best engagement and communication to help them approach their assessments confidently, we were doing them a disservice.

So we voluntarily exposed our systems to Matrix scrutiny. Every process questioned. Every touchpoint examined.

The result? We became the only Matrix-accredited EPAO in the country. But more importantly, we proved to ourselves - and our clients - that our support systems actually work.

Today, we don't just assess apprentices. We engage with training providers on Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours elements, helping them understand how to best prepare their learners during training.

Because quality assessment starts long before the EPA day itself.
