On Saturday we had our annual Tetsudo party where I have the great pleasure of awarding the student of the year. This year, through her hard work and dedication, never giving up when life got hard, I am proud to announce that Chloe won this year's Student of the Year! Well done, Chloe!

We had our club Christmas party yesterday and awarding of the student of the year trophy. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of Alfreton Tetsudo, you're all amazing!
Well done to Isla for winning the student of the year. Her dedication and hard work really shines through all of her techniques. She is an inspiration for the class; keep working hard.

We had a grading recently and everyone who went in was successful. They all worked really hard and were rewarded with new belts and certificates. Congratulations!

Happy Halloween! We had our Monday class, but with some fun fancy dress. We also had a visitor Liam Smith train with us.

We had our club's first anniversary this evening. Despite being really warm, we had a great evening and had some cake to celebrate.

Another successful Self Defence Workshop!

We had excellent feedback from the 2nd Self-Defence Workshop conducted by Master Dhaliwal.

Mr Dhaliwal explained that street self-defence is not about "clean and sanitised methods" but understanding the brutal reality we may face and responding with appropriate force.

Each participant had the invaluable experience of partnering with a Blackbelt grade, simulating real-life street scenarios. This training experience was a real eye-opener, highlighting the critical importance and practical value of self-defence skills.

Thank you to all instructors who took part and helped this event to be such a success.

Yesterday evening concluded the Alfreton Tetsudo Core Challenge. For working so hard, special certificates were awarded.

Students from the Alfreton club had their gradings on Sunday and I'm delighted to say that everyone was successful. Well done Jude, Isla, Ellen, Chloe and Lilliana in getting your next belts!

We had a fantastic training session yesterday evening. Everyone is coming on and improving every lesson. Well done!
