Our new steel pans have arrived, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

This is a final reminder that our Self Portrait/Tea Towel online PTA fundraiser is closing soon.

⏰ The online shop will close at midnight on Wednesday, 24th June 2026.

If you would still like to place an order, please make sure you do so before the deadline.

👉 How to take part:

Your child should have received their personalised order form. Simply follow the instructions to place your order online.

All orders will be printed in bulk after the shop closes and then sent to the school for distribution.

Every order makes a real difference to our fundraising efforts, and we’d love to finish strong.

This week we invited our local child minders and their children to a play in our secret garden. They all had a wonderful time exploring and playing in the sunshine 🌞🌻

Our OPAL sand pit is well under way! A huge thank you to Collins and Amber Valley Scaffolding for the donations of sand- it means a lot!

Another amazing colour run this afternoon with our children and staff! Thank you to our parent/carer community for coming out to support us once again, we are blessed to have such great support.

💙 We’ve also raised over £650 for a cause very close to our hearts- incredible! We would love to make £1000 so if anyone has any further donations, please hand them in to the office 🙏

🎼 Rain, rain, go away—come back another day (ideally one when we haven’t got our colour run planned! 🙄☔️)

This morning in assembly, the children learned about Alan Turing as part of our learning about Pride Month.

Alan Turing was a brilliant British mathematician whose work helped crack enemy codes during World War Two and played a huge role in shaping the computers we use today.

However, despite his incredible contributions, he was treated very unfairly because he was gay, at a time when this was against the law in the UK. His story is an important part of LGBTQ+ history and reminds us how much society has changed—and how important it is that everyone is treated with respect and equality.

By learning about figures like Alan Turing, we help children understand that everyone should be valued for who they are, and that diversity makes our communities stronger.

The Portrait/Tea Towel online fundraiser is now live!

This project is a great way to support the school while giving your child the opportunity to take part.

Look out for your child's personalised order form coming home with your child. You just need to place an order online. All orders are then printed in bulk after the shop's closure date (see below) and sent to the school for distribution.
