We've just been informed that we have been awarded our Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts 'tick' for the 2nd year running. We're proud of all of our instructors for being fantastic role models and providing a safe place for our students to train.

Kendojo is proud to announce that we have successfully attained the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts “mark”.
Achieving the Safeguarding Code, demonstrates Kendojo’s commitment to upholding its duty-of-care to the community and young people and recognises Kendojo as a martial arts provider that has reached and effectively maintained good safeguarding standards. The Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts has been created so that parents and carers can clearly identify a martial arts provider that have demonstrated that they have reached and maintained good safeguarding standards and can make informed decisions when selecting a club for their child.
Developed in consultation with Sport England, representatives from martial arts governing bodies, and leading safeguarding experts, the Code is funded by the National Lottery and was launched by the Sports Minister in 2018.

So proud of Callie and Darcy who worked so hard to achieve their black belts. They showed real dedication and commitment, training not only in the club, but every day at home.

Congratulations to all the students that graded and achieved their next belts this month.

For those coming to photo shoot and / or class later, Anglian Water have helpfully put road closure signs up. Somebody has helpfully moved the cones to one side ;) so it is passable as there are currently no workers on site. If you can't get through for whatever reason you will have to divert via Willoughby.
