** Coats ** if you need a coat please come down to the Community Cafe Warm Hub this Friday at St Mary’s 10:00-13:00 we have had lots donated as part of our ‘winter warmers’ appeal and they are free to whoever needs them. Lots of different sizes, mostly childrens but there are a few adults ones. We also have some blankets available. Tea and coffee available all morning, Soup lunch is served at 12:00 . No need to book just pop in.

I’m still feeling quite giddy over this bit of plastic. I came to Cornwall this week to write and to beachcomb. I hoped I might find a small piece of Lost Lego, but I wasn’t holding out much hope. Calm weather means less plastic: good for the beach, bad for the Lego looker. Then I found this wedged between two boulders. It’s one of the black octopuses from the Lego spill of 1997 when, 20 miles from Land’s End, a huge wave hit the cargo ship Tokio Express. It tilted 45 degrees and 62 containers slid into the water. One container was filled with nearly 5 million pieces of Lego, much of which was sea themed. Little scuba tanks, flippers, octopuses, cutlasses, life rafts, spear guns, dragons and octopuses like this still wash up on the beaches of Cornwall and further afield.

Parenting Tip: If you’re going to send your child to school with straight Domino’s, cut it up so it looks like some kind of focaccia or sumthin.
It’s not day old pizza, it’s a rustic Italian side dish or whatnot. Straight out of nonna’s kitchen.
This will throw the lunch supervisor off. Add some produce to make yourself look on top of things. As always, whether they eat it or not is none of your business. You did your part. The rest is above you.
It’s best to empty lunch boxes with your eyes closed so your feelings don’t get hurt. Uncut fruit can go back and forth many, many times. Maybe even all year, aim for the stars.
Also, this is not a lunch of random leftovers, it’s called a tasting menu.
I will pair with a granola bar and a REUSABLE water bottle full of my city’s finest hydration.
I feel like with the amount of real actual money I spend on Robux, they should send my kids lunch sometimes. Like chip in, scammers. Selling my baby jpgs smh.
