The fire was lit, and then it was toasting marshmallow time!
Our preschoolers have been learning an exciting new Forest School skill – fire lighting! 🔥
Under close supervision, the children carefully explored how to create a spark using fire steels and cotton wool. Along the way, they developed fine motor skills, perseverance and confidence as they learned through trial and error.
Most importantly, the experience encouraged respect for nature and helped children understand how to manage risk safely while enjoying the great outdoors. We were so proud of their focus, determination and sense of achievement! 🌿✨

The mud kitchen can be used in all seasons. You just need to add more water in the summer!
