☀️ Beating the heat wave with wonderful learning!

From Play-Doh creations to wooden block builds, washing animal friends to making rockets — we explored our numbers, named our colours, and stretched our imaginations to think outside the box as we built and created. 🚀🎨🧱

And best of all — we showed so much love and care as we gently washed our animal friends, keeping cool and kind in this warm weather! 💛🐾

🙏 We are grateful for wisdom to be prepared in times like this. Keeping cool, learning, and caring together! ✨

Stencils took over most of our day today! 🎨
We enjoyed tracing and colouring using pencils, crayons, felt tips and chalk .
The children 🚸 focused so well, taking great care to perfect their work – building fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and confidence along the way! 😃

For anyone planning to join the celebrations 🎉

There are just a few days to go until we host the Armed Forces Day National Event - thank you to everyone who has already booked their tickets! It's going to be an amazing day, and we've added some important visitor information to our website, with all the travel and parking arrangements for the weekend. Please see our link in the comments.

What you need to know:

🎟️ Everyone entering the event will need to have a valid ticket, and all adults 18 or over must provide photographic ID matching the name on their ticket.

🚶‍♂️We encourage you to walk to the event if you can. There will be two entrances to the event for pedestrians (gate A: next to Aldershot Military Museum and gate F: just past St Andrew's Garrison Church).

🚍Free shuttle buses will be running from Aldershot railway station and Farnborough Main railway station throughout the day. The service is being run by Stagecoach - look out for the buses which will be marked for the event

🚘If you have bought a priority parking ticket, entry to the site is off the southbound Farnborough Road (A325) heading towards Aldershot.

🚍For Saturday's event - we will also have free shuttle buses from our park and ride location on Farnborough Business Park running throughout the day. The postcode for the park and ride area is GU14 7BF or you can follow the yellow AA signs to 'AFDNE 26' to 'non pre-paid parking'.
