WE NEED YOU! 😍

OWR sees around 4,000 wildlife casualties being admitted every year, and that's not including all the other patients we advise for and assist elsewhere too! Without our amazing team of dedicated volunteers, we simply wouldn't be able to deliver the care, attention, treatment or rescue for these animals!

Volunteering your time to help give back to nature, can be a rewarding experience. seeing these animals and birds coming in, sick, injured and or orphaned, being nursed back to health and later be released back to the wild is one thing, but to play your part and role within this process.. is another world entirely πŸ₯Ή

We are looking to recruit more volunteers for the evening shifts at weekends. 6pm - 10pm Saturdays or Sundays. If you can help us, and wish to give back to nature, please fill in a volunteer application form via our website through the link below ❀

We look forward to hearing from you and having you join the team here at OWR!!

Congratulations Becky! Enjoy your celebrations πŸ₯³πŸ’š

We’d like to say a huge congratulations to our newly qualified veterinary nurses!

Siobhan and Beth have worked incredibly hard and shown such dedication, commitment and compassion throughout their training. We can’t wait to see them continue to thrive in their nursing careers.

To celebrate, they enjoyed a glass of bubbly (non-alcoholic, of course!) πŸ₯‚

Well done, Siobhan and Beth. We’re so proud of you both and feel very lucky to have you on our team 🩡

We love seeing these - congratulations Lauren πŸŽ‰πŸ’š

Huge Congratulations are in order:
Lauren has officially qualified from Student Veterinary Nurse to Registered Veterinary Nurse! (Along with an additional qualification in prescribing).

Pictured here are Ashleigh - Head Nurse and Lauren’s mentor, and Lauren herself proudly holding her two certificates.

Lauren has committed over three years of her life to these qualifications, whilst also working full time at the clinic.
Studying at MYF Training Lauren has sat many exams, written assignments, completed *hundreds* of patient case logs, and aced major practical exams to get to this point.
The team are delighted to see her hard work pay off.
