In Farnborough, some roads to practice on are:

Bradford's Roundabout, Ham and Blackbird Gyratory, Clockhouse Roundabout, Pinehurst Roundabout, Queens Roundabout, Wellington Roundabout, Six Bells Roundabout, from all directions and all connecting roads.

Mytchett incl Salisbury Grove, Coleford Bridge Road and Holly Lodge Car park.

North Camp area roads incl Morris Road, North Camp Station Roundabout and Park Rd Roundabout.

Dual carriageways between A31 junction and Farnborough Gate incl all junction exits and entries on to and off it.

Aldershot incl Aldershot Lido car park, A323 in to Aldershot incl Boulter's Roundabout, NAAFI Roundabout, High Street, Victoria Road, Queens Road, York Road, Sanford Road and Kings Road.

Fleet via Fleet Road (including junction by Potters International Hotel on to A325) to Pondtails in Fleet. Alton Road, Lestock Road, back to Farnborough via Ively Road.

Farnborough, incl Hazel Avenue, Cody Road, Arrow Road and surrounding area incl Southwood. Cove, Tile Barn Close Car Park and area around Farnborough 6th Form College. Union Street up to Ham and Blackbird Gyratory. Highgate Lane and Rectory Road. Areas around Farnborough Tech College.

Frimley High Street to Church Road. Farnborough Gate Roundabout heading to Dual Carriageway southbound.

Road Markings and Road Signs should be observed and adhered to as well as courtesy to all road users at all times.
Sat Nav and following signs for about 20 mins should be included whenever possible.

Practice all manoeuvres until confident and correcting without prompting.

Approach speeds, positioning and observations are scrutinised.

All Show me, Tell me questions revised until answers are 100% correct.

Going wrong is not important as long as you go wrong safely or it is corrected in a safe and timely manner.

If you need to prompt the student for any safety reason, you should consider more practice before the student is actually test ready!

Practising for your driving test?

➡ Are you confident judging the speed of an approaching vehicle?

It’s important when pulling out you don’t cause others to have to slow down or take action to avoid you.

➡ Looking too late? ⏰

You must properly check your surroundings before moving out of junction to make effective observations.

So enormously proud today. First student on a test this year, happens to be my youngest son. First time pass with no driving faults. Awesome Harry, always had faith you'd do it.

Awesome news from our Prime Minister today. April 12th is when I will be restarting lessons (that week is also fully booked) and Practical Driving tests will resume from 22nd April. Yay. I'm looking forward to getting back out on the road with you all again 😁
