Butterflies Pre-school remains closed and will not be re opening in the foreseeable future, this is due to no suitable setting being available in Ash Vale and financial constraints.

Holly Lodge School are currently looking for 1 or more people to come and join the Holly Lodge and the Kite Academy Trust to work with their Breakfast Club and After School Club:

5 mornings 7:20 – 8:35am
Tuesday – Thursday – 3pm – 6pm

This role can be part time such as you can offer 3 mornings and 3 after school, only the mornings, only the after school times etc.

Training and a mentor will be provided. Access to the club for children of Holly Lodge staff is free for Breakfast Club and half price for After School Club.

Our beautiful little Butterflies Pre-school made it to our Christmas Song performance & Christmas party, we enjoyed our final day before our school closed its doors for the final time…
These little ones are etched in our hearts & we truly wish each & every one of you in our Butterflies family a very happy, healthy & fulfilled 2023! ….While it may be the end of something so valued & special to many of us, it’s also now the start of new beginnings! ❤️
I’m truly sorry I lost our fight to stay open, though I’m not sorry for never compromising with serious safety issues. We never allowed our Pre-school to be bullied into submission with overlooking H&S issues and always remained compliant with Ofsted. When I reflect on what we have endured since opening our Pre-school in November 2019, it’s nothing short of a miracle our non profit Pre-school where I worked as a volunteer, survived so many moves & so much!
Shared space with our Pre-school in Ash Vale has encountered so many challenges, albeit different in each venue, however trying to negotiate Safety compliance has been impossible, incredibly stressful & incredibly time consuming with all that is associated to standing up for your Pre-school, legalities, responsibilities & compliance with Early Years Education. We made it through & closed our doors on a very emotionally, mentally & physically exhausting but happy note!
My loyal, dedicated to Early Years, honest & reliable right hand ladies, Victoria & Lucy remained truly wonderful, positive, supportive & happy, they now have the most exciting new opportunities ahead of them too & deserve every single ounce of it! 🥰❤️
My husband Philip Andrews has been my absolute rock & saviour with helping me keep my head above water, helping remove all of our things & daily running errands to help! I can’t deny I’m not tired & weary, but I’m also very proud, I’ve so many funny & precious memories from the last 3 years, we received so much amazing & truly valued support from friends, family, our local community & pre-school families, it’s thanks to you all we gave our littles another year of Early Years Education in a safe, clean & compliant space, providing support to so many children & their families too, be proud too! Thank you so much to Annie & Hayley for helping us stay open in our last week too💜🦋💜 Happy Christmas everyone, with much love, Natalie & family ❤️

Help for an unwell child Bronchiolitis and RSV

We were so lucky and thankful to be hosted recently at the wonderful Village Hotel, Farnborough! We had a fab morning, using our senses to smell and taste chocolate, smell coffee, enjoy Babyccino’s, decorate ginger bread men and fun in the hotel lift recognising numbers and going “up and down”, it was an extra special morning of fun activities! The Village Hotel saved us from closure due to a leaking roof at the Scout Hut, thank you to everyone who made our morning, especially our families for their flexibility too 🦋💜🦋
