Hi, I’m Dave and I run the Independent Bike Hub. We are a mountain bike activity business based in the Swaledale area of the Yorkshire Dales. We specialised in coaching and guided rides, often combining them to form hybrid sessions.
Our instructors are Mountain Bike Instructor Award Scheme (MIAS) qualified and have many years of riding experience all over the world. We provide skills coaching from novice up to advanced riders, guided rides and a mobile bike maintenance service. We operate in the North of England and Southern Scotland, particularly the Yorkshire Dales and the Tweed Valley. We are DBS cleared and fully insured.

Planning in entering the UK’s most famous enduro? Never ridden the Dale’s before? Lets us show you its not as Ard as the name suggests! We’ll show you what its like riding some of the most challenging descents Swaledale has to offer, we unfortunately can’t ride the actual stages but we’ll have you flying down some trails that are very similar all ending at one of Reeth’s many pubs! Ard Rock should be on every riders bucket list and is definitely not to be missed!!!
Guided Rides
Our operating areas are the Yorkshire Dales, Hamsterley Forest and the Tweed Valley.
Groups of up to six riders on ebike or analogue can be catered for, all rides are fully bespoke to the customer requirement. Bike hire can be arranged, from the Dales Bike Centre.
Navigation Training
We are very fortunate to be extremely experienced in land navigation and love passing on our experience, we run basic, intermediate and advanced courses. We also provide a route planning service.
