Last week, and enjoyed an unforgettable residential to Plas Menai in Caernarfon! 🌊⛰️
Over two exciting days, the girls took part in a fantastic mix of land and water activities. They took on caving challenges, navigating some very tight tunnels, before putting their balancing skills to the test on the low ropes course.
In the afternoon, the girls explored the Strait in two different ways. Everyone had the opportunity to drive a motorboat, and they even caught some huge crabs! The adventure continued with canoeing before the day ended with a relaxed evening toasting marshmallows around the campfire.
The second brought a full morning of paddle boarding. The Strait was quite choppy, making it a fun physical challenge for everyone. The girls also explored the shoreline, searching under rocks for crabs and mini beasts. What a trip!
Throughout the trip, the girls showed fantastic enthusiasm, teamwork, and resilience, while creating memories to last a lifetime!

took learning beyond the classroom with an exciting River Adventure to the River Bollin! 🌊
Following their recent geography studies on rivers, our Year 4 girls had the opportunity to explore a real river environment and put their learning into practice. The girls spent a beautiful sunny day investigating the river’s features, measuring water depth and flow speed using specialist equipment, and examining the riverbanks up close.
There was plenty of enthusiasm, teamwork, and curiosity on display throughout the day. The adventure ended perfectly with a well-earned hot chocolate back at school. ☕
A fantastic day of hands-on learning and discovery for our resourceful Year 4 girls!

Our wonderful girls have been busy becoming young journalists today as they created their very own newspapers! 📰✨
From writing eye-catching headlines to carefully crafting their articles, the girls showed fantastic imagination, creativity and beautiful handwriting throughout the lesson. They have been learning all about what makes a great newspaper article and how to share information clearly and confidently.💙
