We made guacamole and salsa to learn about foods from different cultures, focusing on Mexican cuisine. The children had a great time helping to make the dips. They helped prepare the tomatoes, spring onions, and avocados before following the recipe together. We then enjoyed eating them with tasty tortilla chips as part of our fruit snack.
The children loved it so much that they asked to take the recipes home so they could make them again with their families! 🌮🥑🍅

What a Fantastic Summer Fête!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at our Summer Fête this weekend. It was wonderful to see so many families, friends, staff, and members of our community coming together to enjoy a day filled with fun, laughter, and sunshine.
From the games and stalls to the refreshments and raffle, the event was a great success, and wouldn't have been possible without the support of our amazing FSJ members, volunteers and staff.
Thank you once again for making this year's Summer Fête such a memorable occasion. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

Our children had a fantastic time welcoming a very special visitor — a tractor! The pupils loved getting up close and having the chance to sit in the driver’s seat.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this such a memorable experience for the children. We think there may be a few future farmers in the making!
Take a look at some of the wonderful smiles from today’s visit! 📸

What a fantastic couple of weeks Nursery have had! 🌟
Our children have been busy exploring, creating and learning in so many exciting ways. They loved the opportunity to hold some adorable chicks and learn all about how they grow and develop 🐥
We also travelled back in time to discover the amazing world of dinosaurs, sharing lots of fun facts and imaginative play 🦖🦕
The creativity continued outdoors with some brilliant volcano paintings, where the children enjoyed making colourful erupting masterpieces 🎨🌋
The children also created some beautiful flowers which look lovely in the Nursery garden 🌸
