Sunflower Montessori Nursery School

The children are cooking as we are talking about a to z fruit and vegetables, so we grated carrots and cut up apples to add to our cake mix. It cooked in our oven for fifteen minutes; the classroom smelled wonderful.

Dr Seuss are great story books to be read out aloud to the children as they can hear rhyming words.
They are silly and fun.
Our children enjoyed listening to them this week.

Here is a success for our cauliflower plant that last year the caterpillars eat all the leaves, the plant survived and before the butterflies lay their eggs the plant has grown the most beautiful cauliflower on a 2year old stalk.
We are leaving it too see what happens next.

We are really enjoying stories written by Shirley Hughes, the stories are so relatable to our children’s lives.
Moving home, buying new shoes, your younger sibling and making friends.

Hurrah Spring is here with blossom on the trees and spring bulbs every where. Here are our sunflower flowers to enjoy.

Have a great Easter break, the children really loved the Easter party even though it rained, a mini easter egg hunt in the playground and fish and chips for lunch. The week of the party, we made lots of Easter activities.

Hope ever mummy had a good Mothering Sunday, enjoy the time, as one day you will turn around and they will an adult. Enjoy and treasure.
