A huge thank you to Westland’s who kindly donated an amazing amount of bird feeders and feed to our school. All classes have had the opportunity to have a feeder and think about where they would like to place them and see what birds they are able to spot.

They also made brilliant prizes for our recycling competition where we saw some amazing entries from colourful wreaths and marble runs to skateboards.

Well done and thank you to every child that entered and once again thank you Westland’s for your generosity.

CHAMPIONS AGAIN!! 🏆🏆

Our fantastic girls’ team are district champions for the second year in a row! After a great defensive performance, with our superb goalkeeper making some outstanding saves, a brilliant goal with 2 minutes left helped us to win 1-0 in today’s final!

We are incredibly proud of the whole team and we’re delighted to retain our trophy after last year’s first ever title! ⚽️

In our third and final semi-final of the week, we’re delighted to say that our girls’ team have reached the cup final for the second year running!

They all performed brilliantly as a team and ended up winning 4-0 - meaning that we now have the chance to retain our trophy! No matter what happens in the final though, we are (again) incredibly proud of the team for their attitude and commitment over the year! ⚽️

Today, our school council launched our recycling competition which will take place over our 'Climate Action Week' which is next week. The competition is to make something unique from recyclable materials. It could be a sculpture or something useful like a bird box! We have some super prizes - one per year group.
