3 PuTs + 2 beautiful flights + 1 successful solo = a fantastic weekend for PPFL at Oswestry Balloon Festival 🥳

A huge congratulations to fast-track New Aviator Ben, who is one step closer to his licence after a Saturday morning solo, and a massive thank you to Lindsay, Marcus & Dom who helped get Megan, Ben and Shea in the air!

We’re looking forward to the Comps Club’s 50th Anniversary meet in Ludlow next week, and hoping to see many of you there 🎈

The wonderful Jess, who’s been the driving force behind the PPFL and partnership, is today celebrating her final day at the factory before moving on to pastures new.

We wanted to take this moment to acknowledge the transformational impact Jess’ enthusiasm and generosity has had on PPFL, to say a huge and heartfelt thank you for all she has helped us achieve and to wish her the best of luck for her new role!

What a weekend it was at Bristol Balloon Fiesta - blue skies, incredible views, and aviation enthusiasts as far as you could see. With Crispin as P1 and Louise as crew chief, our New Aviators were in excellent hands. They built plenty of flying hours and racked up some great crewing experience, plus everyone got stuck in fundraising for PPFL, repping and selling our brand new merch (preorders opening soon - watch this space!)

A huge thanks to all who made the weekend possible. It’s always a hugely meaningful meet to return to, and remember happy times flying with Pete 💖

It was all go this weekend for PPFL’s fast-track programme! 🎈 Thanks to the instruction of Lindsay and David, both Ben and Howard added vital hours to their training logbooks, while, a little further afield, fast-track alum Ryan enjoyed a beautiful flight with his family in Italy 🇮🇹

Cut fields and spectacular sunshine made these flights particularly special for the New Aviators, who are all looking forward to a weekend of (hopefully) glorious weather Bristol Balloon Fiesta 🤞

Great weekend at Showtime Events Doncaster, where PUTs Barney and Julia clocked up valuable burner time with instructor and PPFL board member Dom Bareford.

It’s brilliant watching our New Aviators close in on their licence ambitions event by event, and to see confidence, enthusiasm and determination build and build. Keep it up team, next stop Bristol International Balloon Fiesta 🎈

We’re still reminiscing on how fantastic our last weekend was! When the UK weather gave us the opportunity to fly, we certainly made the most of it.
