Many neurodivergent people spend years being misunderstood before anyone looks beneath the behaviour.

Over the years, we have met many families who have spent a long time trying to make sense of what they are seeing.

Sometimes a child masks.
Sometimes they withdraw.
Sometimes they cope all day, then fall apart at home.
Sometimes behaviour is misunderstood before anyone has really looked beneath it.

That is why autism and ADHD assessments need to be thoughtful, careful and person centred.

For us, assessment is not only about diagnosis. It is about piecing together the experiences others may have missed, so families can begin to understand what is happening and what support may help.

At the moment, we have no waiting list for ourassessments.

If you feel an assessment could help your family, you can contact us via our website - https://www.studio3.org/assessments-and-diagnostics

That's the point of this programme. Not just understanding the Low Arousal Approach β€” being qualified to deliver it inside your own organisation.

Reaction escalates. De-escalation resolves.

For autistic people, those with intellectual disabilities or significant trauma histories, how your staff respond in a crisis shapes everything. Studio 3's Train the Trainer programme builds the internal capability to get that right.

Professor Andy McDonnell has spent decades building a crisis management approach that puts people first β€” not intervention.
Studio 3's Train the Trainer programme brings that methodology directly into your organisation. You'll train with the people who built it and leave qualified to deliver it internally.

When a child is in crisis, dignity matters.

One participant reflected that what stood out most was the child-focused nature of the training.

Low Arousal is not about control.

It is about:
β€’ Reducing stress
β€’ Supporting regulation
β€’ Responding calmly
β€’ Preserving dignity

That shift changes how teams think about behaviour.

And it changes how children experience school.
