Out and about today to get our stick insects some new leaves. All cleaned out and a fresh new enclosure for another week. They are getting so big!! No sign of any babies yet wonder if they'll reproduce??
Working on the polytunnel, let it get away from us over the winter and spring but that's it tidied up and our tomatoes all planted in! π

Annual Easter Egg hunt at our allotments. Weather was superb π kids had a great time. We set up our scarecrows as the naughty birds have been pinching our bulbs π€ͺ our dwarf daffodils have survived they are so cute and much smaller than I imagined them being how cute π spring is finally here π€π
Muddy boots today spotting and matching bugs, weighing and measuring cones and stones, Easter sensory and great fun. Collecting leaves for our stick insects they are getting so big now can't wait for them to be much bigger so the kids can handle them, still too delicate!

Off out on an autumn walk swishing through the leaves and up to the allotments to sort out our pumpkins. Not all have turned orange but super happy with the amount we got on our first try. They will look fab when they are carved. And our teeny wee 'jack be littles' still displayed soon time to make soup with them π π π²ππ

First day of our 12 week virtual nature school course to develop the early years speech and language through nature and outdoor experiences. This weeks theme is puddles/water. We splashed, poured, made bubbles, spritzed, frothed,decanted and all sort of amazing things involving water. The kids had a ball!

A day full of fun for my little graduate! Ive had this wee girl since she was 3 months old and she is now all ready for the big school. Bubbles out the backdoor, with graduation ceremony, softplay this morning and the indoor sandpit this afternoon. Here's to a summer full of more fun and great memories πππ
