We still have places available for 1140 hours funding.
These can be used to suit your requirements be it 9:00 to 3:00 term time or whatever suits you.

Our aim is to give Parents the choice of hours that suit them, for example 9:00 to 3:00 term time or the hours spread out to suit working parents.
You will always get your full allocation of hours for your requirements and not be tied to specific session times, within reason.

First Class Day Nursery is an exclusive nursery in the centre of Airdrie, with extensive outdoor facilities which encourages children to embrace outdoor learning.
Our outdoor facilities include:
• Hardstanding area where bikes and ring games can be enjoyed
• Adventure area within a copse of trees, with a tree house and slide, sand pit etc
• Sensory garden where herbs are grown to encourage the children to explore their senses
• A vegetable garden where planting and harvesting of our own produce can be observed together with a mud kitchen for a bit of messy fun
• The Jungle where the vegetation is allowed to grow and create an area for exploration.

We are in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council to provide childcare to all children aged 3-5 years and also for eligible 2 year olds

Children who reach 3 years of age between 1st March 2021 and 12 August 2021 can take up their ELC placement from August 2021.
Children reaching 3 years of age between 13th August 2021 and 28th February 2022 can take up their ELC placement the day after the child’s 3rd Birthday.

Not only do we provide 1140 hours of free childcare to these groups, but full time places for funded children will only cost £60.00 per week
(Mon to Fri 8:00am to 5:30pm)
or if you only require full time places during the school term this will result in an additional cost of £20.00 per week

During lockdown we have carried out major renovations to comply with covid 19 guidance. We have used the time to ensure that the best possible hygiene practices are in place, staff have been fully trained in covid 19 symptoms and procedures as well as looking at new practices to give the children the best possible care and learning experiences. Our outdoor areas are being utilised more than ever, ensuring a diverse and rewarding experience. Canopies have been installed for parents during this time when access to the nursery is curtailed. Outdoor sinks for the children and hand sanitising stations have also been provided.

We are now fully open and have a few vacancies for 2 year olds and babies.

Remember if your child is 2 there is the possibility you can get free childcare.

We are completely refurbishing the nursery for the children when we re-open. This is photo shows the new floor in our main room. More pics to follow. When we do open the nursery will definitely be “FIRST CLASS”

First Class Day Nursery has one of the most extensive and diverse outdoor facilities in the area and boasts very good Care Inspectorate grades over many years.
The new Council contract now means that parents requiring extended hours due to work commitments can have full time childcare at First Class from 8:00am to 5:30pm for £50.00 per week. Or £20.00 per week for term time.
Parents who only require funded sessions can have up to 1250 hours free at First Class
For example
9:00am to 3:30pm free of charge (1228 Hours)
9:00am to 4:00pm 3 Days per week for 50 weeks
Or hours to suit individual requirements

If you or friends are looking for free funding hours for 2 - 4 year old's, we can offer you 9:00am to 3:15pm Monday to Friday for the school term.
If you require a full time place for work commitments it will cost £50.00 per week.
