🎵 This week's language throwback is the timeless Qué Será, Será 🎵

Interestingly, although it sounds Spanish, “Qué será, será” isn't actually a traditional Spanish expression and is actually gramatically incorrect! 🇪🇸

Nevertheless, it's one of those songs that has travelled across generations and reminds us that languages are everywhere — in music, films and everyday life. 🌍🎶

Whether you're learning French, Spanish or simply love a classic tune, music is a wonderful way to connect with a language and its culture.

If you're studing French or Spanish, and need some help with your tenses, feel free to get in touch. (I promise I won't sing Qué será será at you!)

Good morning! Happy Wednesday!
🚨 Wordy Wednesday! 🚨
Today, I'm going to talk about FALSE FRIENDS! 👀

They look familiar… they sound familiar… so surely they must mean the same thing, right?
❌ Not necessarily! ❌

False friends are words in two languages that look or sound similar but have completely different meanings — and they can catch even confident language learners out!

🇫🇷 🇪🇸 If you’re learning French or Spanish, you’ll definitely want to watch out for these! 😉

💬 Have you ever used a word in French or Spanish thinking it meant one thing… only to discover it meant something completely different?

Good evening! Happy Tuesday! Time for another Top Tip Tuesday!
If you haven't already stocked up of school supplies, do so now!
Its important to start the way you mean to go on, so that you don't have to spend time looking for things later on. (Ask me how I know! lol)

This is your weekly reminder that Monday is a Mindset! Remember: Exam preparation is a marathon, not a sprint! You need to plan, you can start small, but be consistent!

Do you remember Señorita by Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello? 💃🇪🇸
Back in 2019, this song was everywhere! And it also gave us a little Spanish lesson without us even realising it. 😉

Can you think of another song with a Spanish word or phrase in the title?
Or can you think of any words in English with the ny sound? (Bonus points if you comment with my favourite Scottish “ny” word! Clue: It starts with an N and ends with ff!) 🤣

Good morning! Happy Wednesday!

No, I'm not talking about the latest celebrity spat! I mean words that look like a word you already know..... They look familiar… they sound familiar… so surely they must mean the same thing, right?

Hi! Happy Tuesday! Time for another "Top Tip!" 🩼

**Do you know your learning style? 🧠📚**

Are you a visual learner? 👀
Do you learn best by listening? 👂
Maybe you need to *do* something before it really sticks? ✍️

We all have ways of learning that feel more natural to us — but when it comes to learning a language, **using a mixture of approaches can be even more effective.** 🇫🇷🇪🇸

That’s why in my lessons, we don’t just *memorise* French and Spanish vocabulary and grammar. We talk, listen, read, write, practise, make mistakes and try again!

Because learning a language should be about finding what works **for you** — and building the confidence to use it. 💪

**What’s your favourite way to learn?** 👇
