Last summer, our Fourth Year students achieved incredible results in their English Language GCSE. So much so, St George’s College has been awarded a Diamond Award from ALPS, acknowledgement that these results put our students’ progress in the top 1% of schools nationally. We are extremely proud of both our students and staff for this fantastic achievement.📖

🌟 Introducing Mr Parks, our newest Teacher of English! 🌟
We’re delighted to welcome Mr Parks, who joined St George’s in September. As an Old Georgian (2021), he brings a unique perspective, inspiring our students to see how English connects to their modern interests.
With a passion for exploring the link between ancient myths and modern storytelling—and a soft spot for a good cheeseburger 🍔—Mr Parks is already sparking creativity in the classroom.
He’s also written a fascinating paper on the benefits of taking English as an A Level, which you can read on our website here: https://ow.ly/skra50UAVUz
Today, we celebrate the Magi following the star to Christ, a reminder to let the Light of God and kindness guide us. Wishing our students, staff, and families a blessed Epiphany and a joyful start to 2025! 💛
We look forward to welcoming back our staff and students this morning, and wishing everyone a fantastic Easter Term.🌈
We were absolutely delighted to host our ✨Graduation & Reunion Night✨ for the Class of 2024 last night. We celebrated our most recent OGs, who left after their A Levels in the summer, with a drinks reception for them and their parents before awarding their exam certificates and prizes in the Chapel.
Fergus Reilly, OG 2020, joined us for the event, delivering a brilliant address and offering his experience and wisdom on the journey from school to university and beyond.
Students then moved onto a local pub for their very first reunion. Thank you to all who joined us, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
🎄Wishing all our Georgian community a very happy and peaceful Christmas.🎄
We warmly invite our Georgian family to our First Mass of Christmas in the chapel at 8pm on Christmas Eve.
Join us as we come together to reflect, pray, and celebrate the birth of Christ.✨
We look forward to seeing you.

We’ve created a short video to celebrate some of the highlights - accompanied by the years 3 and 4 Christmas Concert performance – a wonderful reminder of all the enthusiasm, talent, and curiosity that make our school so special.🎵
Thank you to our pupils, teachers, and families for being part of such a brilliant year. Here’s to an even more exciting 2025!🎄
We’re incredibly proud of Sinead (U6) for her incredible musical achievements this year. Sinead won the Senior Brass Category and the prestigious Rotan Cup at the Woking Music Festival, a testament to her hard work and talent.
She has also secured offers and scholarships from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Northern College of Music, showcasing her exceptional abilities. ✨Last night, we gathered for our annual Candlelit Nine Lessons and Carols service – a truly serene and inspiring moment in this festive season.
The soft glow of candlelight, the uplifting voices of our choir, and the heartfelt readings came together to create an atmosphere of peace and reflection. It was a beautiful reminder of the joy, hope, and unity this time of year brings.✨
A sincere thank you to everyone who attended and to those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the evening so special. 🎶🕯️
Chaplaincy felt honoured as we handed over all the donations the College community had collected.🥰
Our longstanding partnership with Salvation Army Addlestone allows us to walk in solidarity with those less fortunate than ourselves, ensuring we give priority to those in need.🎄All of this, the toys, the food hampers, the toiletries and over £1,000 in gift vouchers will all help to make Christmas that little bit brighter for many in our local community.🎅🏻
We love the Nativity season here at St. George’s, and this week’s performances from our Squirrels class and Nursery year group were truly magical! 🌟🎭
From the vibrant costumes to the delightful singing, dancing, and adorable waves and smiles to the audience, every moment radiated Christmas cheer. 🎶💫 Our little stars brought the Christmas story to life in the most heartwarming way, leaving everyone filled with joy and festive spirit! ❤️🎄
A huge thank you to our talented students, dedicated teachers, and families for making this such a special celebration. We couldn’t be prouder of our young performers! ✨
