Meet our new Headmaster, Mr Henry Warner.
For many within the St George’s community, Mr Warner will already be a familiar face, after serving as Deputy Head Academic for the past three years. He begins his first term as Headmaster this September with a deep understanding of our school, its people and the values that make it special.
For families joining St George’s for the first time - and those getting to know us - Mr Warner brings experience from a wide range of schools, both state and independent. What drew him to St George’s was its distinctive combination of academic ambition, exceptional opportunities and a community in which young people can truly flourish.
His vision for St George’s centres on seeing excellence everywhere: in the classroom, across sport and the creative arts, and in the way we care for and contribute to our community. This vision reflects our commitment to a perfectly balanced education and is firmly rooted in our Josephite ethos and belief in the inherent dignity and worth of every individual.
Mr Warner will also now experience St George’s as a parent, with his three daughters joining the Junior School in September.
When term is in full swing, Mr Warner describes the College as ‘buzzing like a beehive’ - a joyful, ambitious and purposeful community. We look forward to the bees returning to the beehive in a little over a week’s time!
