The children had a wonderful time visiting Garsons Farm today for some strawberry picking! 🍓🌿
There was lots of excitement as they searched for the ripest strawberries, carefully filling their boxes and learning about where our food comes from. The best part? Sampling some of the delicious strawberries too! 😋
A lovely morning full of fresh air, exploration and happy smiles ❤️

The children have been full of creativity, imagination and curiosity from start to finish today, We built a fantastic ride-on train using wooden blocks, explored measuring and pouring with coloured water and enjoyed lots of writing and mark making in the salt tray.
These activities supported so many important skills including problem-solving, teamwork, early mathematics, creativity and fine motor development — all while having lots of fun outdoors 😊

Learning through play at its best 🌼

We had a wonderful day celebrating World Bee Day! Our activities sparked lots of engaging conversations about how bees make honey 🍯 and why these tiny creatures are so important for our world and environment 🌍💛

It was lovely to hear the children asking questions, sharing ideas and showing such curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the day.
And much to the children’s delight… we even had a special visit from one of these important little creatures!

It’s been a wonderful day full of curiosity, exploration and engagement as the children explored activities designed to support their fine motor skills, hand strength, hand-eye coordination, colour recognition and problem-solving abilities.
The children eagerly explored our pom pom colour matching activity, investigating the different tools that would help them pick up and move the pom poms, the tea strainer created lots of excitement and fascination as the children discovered how it worked and experimented with using it independently.

We also enjoyed using child-safe scissors to cut straw and hay, carefully creating cosy nests for the little birds hidden in our sensory tray. The children showed fantastic focus, concentration and creativity.

It’s safe to say the new climbing frame is a very big hit!
The children have been busy climbing, swinging and jumping, all while developing their gross motor skills and growing in confidence. It’s been wonderful to watch them challenge themselves, take risks and celebrate their achievements with big smiles and laughter
This is Outdoor play at its best – active, exciting and full of learning grossmotorskills

After lunch today, the children loved getting involved in drying the dishes – and what a fantastic job they did!
This simple everyday chore is packed with so many learning opportunities. It helps children to build independence, develop fine motor skills, and feel a real sense of responsibility and achievement. There were lots of smiles as they carefully dried each item and worked together as a team 😊
Moments like these show how even the smallest tasks can support big learning 🌟
