On Friday, Old Georgians and Old Maurians gathered at the Junior School to celebrate a special milestone — the School’s 75th anniversary.
Guests enjoyed guided tours, revisiting familiar spaces and sharing memories from the St Maur’s boarding days and their time at Woburn Hill when the Junior School was based on the College campus. Former Heads Fr Martin Ashcroft and Antony Hudson joined current Head Dan Jameson in welcoming everyone back, along with former St Maur’s Headmistress Maureen Dodds.
The celebrations ran alongside the Parents’ Association’s vibrant World Cup–themed Summer Fête, with musical and gymnastics performances from Junior School pupils adding to the atmosphere.
A joyful afternoon of reflection, reconnection and celebration — honouring 75 years of community, tradition and excellence.

Last night, we were delighted to welcome over 30 alumni to celebrate their 10-year reunion for the Class of 2016 at Circe’s Rooftop, Waterloo.
It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces reconnect, catch up, and share what they’ve been up to over the years. A truly lovely evening all round!

The Ben Hope Memorial Football Tournament
Every year, family and friends of Ben Hope (OG ' 21) organise a charity 5‑a‑side football tournament in his memory. This year’s event will take place at 1pm on Saturday 20 June at the Junior School.
Ben tragically took his life just before his 20th birthday in March 2023, and the annual tournament was created to celebrate his life, share memories, and raise money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) — a charity providing life‑saving support for people struggling with their mental health and working to prevent su***de.
In recent years the tournament has seen a fantastic turnout. Last year, 21 teams took part before joining Ben’s family at The Old Crown, Weybridge, to celebrate his life and remember the incredible person he was.
Players of all abilities are warmly welcome. Whether you play regularly or haven’t kicked a ball in years, you’ll be very welcome. The day isn’t about trophies or talent — it’s about coming together as a community, sharing memories, spending time with Ben’s family, and supporting a cause that means so much to everyone involved.
There's still time to enter a team, please use this link:

Eight Old Georgians headed to Bramley Golf Club for the Surrey Schools Old Boys Festival on 5th June - representing an incredible span of generations, from 2022 leavers all the way back to the late 1970s.
Split into two teams - quickly nicknamed the “Youngsters” and the “Not So Youngsters” - both teams performed admirably, but it was the experience of the "Not So Youngsters" that ultimately proved decisive, as they claimed the festival trophy.
Up against strong teams from Reeds, KGS, Cranleigh, Hampton and more, the OGs proved unstoppable — and not even their fellow Georgians could stand in their way.
A brilliant day of golf, camaraderie and inter‑generational OG spirit, topped off with a well‑deserved victory.
Congratulations to all who took part!
In the photo (from left to right) we have: Josh Chattock (OG '22), Sam Burnley (OG '22), Luke Duffy (OG '22), Will Stevens (OG '22), Tom Parrish (OG '08), Andy Mitchell (OG '80), Mark Jayasinghe (OG '91) and Constant Busch (OG '84). The last four being the winning team.
There are further Golf Days planned on Thursday 2nd July, Friday 4th September and Monday 5th October. If you would like to find out more or attend, please contact Tom Parrish at [email protected]

Can you help our Sixth Formers get interview‑ready?
We’re looking for volunteers to help with our Lower Sixth mock interviews, taking place 23–25 June, 5.30–7.30pm in the Henderson Centre at the College. If you can spare an evening, we’d love to have you involved.
No specialist knowledge needed — just a willingness to chat with students about their future plans and help them practise interview skills. They’ll send you a draft personal statement in advance, and we’ll provide optional questions.
It’s a small time commitment that makes a huge difference to their confidence.
If you can help for an evening, please contact us at [email protected]

What a wonderful afternoon at our Over Sixties Lunch.
100 Old Georgians gathered at the House of Commons for a very special occasion, enjoying an afternoon of conversation, laughter and reconnecting with friends old and new.
