Yesterday we celebrated what would have been our mum’s 60th birthday, and what a special day it was 🫶🏼

The centre was transformed into a sea of yellow with beautiful decorations and everyone, including our amazing staff, came dressed in yellow to honour her. From morning until leaving the atmosphere was filled with love and happiness.

We started the morning with games and dancing and then a really heartfelt moment with everyone writing messages to her that will be kept forever 💛

We then enjoyed a fantastic buffet lunch prepared by our staff Susan Barnes & Elaine Todd, followed by a visit from the ice cream van, where everyone enjoyed ice creams 🍦
The day finished with a brilliant karaoke competition and a heartfelt Happy Birthday, sung with so much love for Mum 🥂

We want to say a huge thank you to every member of staff who worked so hard in the planning and throughout the day to make it such a beautiful celebration 🙏we are so grateful 🫶🏼

Most importantly, we want to thank all of our wonderful service users. The love and happiness you brought to the day was just incredible 🥹 You celebrated our Mum and created special memories that will continue to live on with me, Dom Croasdale & Paul Croasdale & our families for a long time.

Yesterday was a day remembering a truly beautiful woman who touched the lives of so many people 💛
Thank you to everyone who helped make her 60th birthday such a beautiful celebration. She would have loved every single minute. 💛

A lovely day at the centre today!

This morning we enjoyed some boxing and arts & crafts as we got everything ready for tomorrow’s celebrations 🥊🎨

We finished the day with a calm and relaxing trip to the library 📚😊

We’re all looking forward to tomorrow! 🎉

Today we have been getting on our craft on ✍️ 🌞 ⭐ 🎨🖌️ in preparation for our big party on Thursday 💛 the centre is starting to look so beautiful and bright 💛 thank you everyone 💛

Does anyone know of anyone or how I can book an ice cream van to an event? Short notice but I need it by Thursday this week if possible 😬
