A wonderful visit from Greg Finn from The Mark 10 Mission. He visited all classes and helped us worship in such a joyful way.

Miss Dunleavy has spent the last 8 months working very hard to become a Cultural Champion through the Royal Ballet and Opera education programme. Her enthusiasm, commitment and hard work is inspirational and makes a difference to our school community. If you see her around our school, please congratulate her and if you're brave enough, sing it to her in the style of opera 🎼

Today, Mrs Jude, ( Hannah from ) and class teachers worked collaboratively to create an English curriculum, with the priorities of our pupils, our school values and school priorities at the the centre of English. This evening, our staff team participated in our second Literacy Tree CPD session. The enthusiasm and impact we’ve seen from all, in a short period of time, is nothing short of incredible and we are excited to see our pupils grow into inspiring and passionate readers and writers over the coming months and beyond 📚✍️

Our Year 6 class visited Pleck Meadow this morning and watched the trout, which we visited in February, released. The pupils have also been identifying invertebrates and learning about river safety. A huge thank you to Ribble Rivers Trust for allowing us to participate in this opportunity and we look forward to engaging with Ribble River Trust in the future.

💦 The children are enjoying Pools to School this week! Thank you to our wonderful parents for your support with preparing children for this and thank you to the swimming instructors at Pro Sport Coaching 💦

EYFS enjoyed a visit from a parent 'secret reader' today! We are looking forward to the next time a secret reader family member enters our classroom to share a story for story time 📘💜
