Miss Dunleavy has spent the last 8 months working very hard to become a Cultural Champion through the Royal Ballet and Opera education programme. Her enthusiasm, commitment and hard work is inspirational and makes a difference to our school community. Today, Mrs Jude, ( Hannah from ) and class teachers worked collaboratively to create an English curriculum, with the priorities of our pupils, our school values and school priorities at the the centre of English. This evening, our staff team participated in our second Literacy Tree CPD session. The enthusiasm and impact weโve seen from all, in a short period of time, is nothing short of incredible and we are excited to see our pupils grow into inspiring and passionate readers and writers over the coming months and beyond ๐โ๏ธ

Our Year 6 class visited Pleck Meadow this morning and watched the trout, which we visited in February, released. The pupils have also been identifying invertebrates and learning about river safety. A huge thank you to Ribble Rivers Trust for allowing us to participate in this opportunity and we look forward to engaging with Ribble River Trust in the future.
