GCSE results can tell us something about how a teenager has done in their exams. They can’t measure their kindness, humour, creativity, resilience, friendships, courage - or all the ways you’ve watched them grow.

So whether today brings celebrations, disappointment, relief or a complicated mixture of all three, remind them of the things that haven’t changed.

They are loved by you.

They are known and loved by God.

And there is so much more to their story than the numbers on a page.

To all our Year 11 pupils receiving their GCSE results today, we wish you the very best! 📚✨

We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved and hope you enjoy celebrating your successes with your friends, family and teachers. 🎉👏

Support and guidance will be available throughout the day, and our Sixth Form team will also be on hand to support pupils enrolling onto A-level courses. 🎓

Congratulations, Year 11 — you’ve done it! 🌟

We at FOSC want to say a massive well done to all our upper 6th form, you did amazing 🤩.

Don't worry if the results were not as you hoped there are always options out there . Our vice chair also had the same experience when her grades at A level were not as predicted but she still managed to go to university do a law degree and qualify a solicitor, so don't worry there are options and staff at school and the universities will do what they can to advise you.

After all even Jeremy Clarkson says the same every year he didn't do very well either now he runs a pub a world renowned farm and has his own beer 😁

Thank you to everyone who came to see us today we hope you managed to get what you needed if not don't worry we are open again on the 22nd August and the 12th September .

Remember though we don't have any stock of the new pe sweaters and t shirts for the new year 7s as our service works on donations. We do have shorts some skorts, joggers and leggings which can be used by all years . And the old style pe kit can be used by yrs 8 -11.

Lastly we are really short on ties for both lower and upper school so if you have any please donate them.

Likewise we want to thank everyone for your kind donations . This shop doesn't work without you and the money raised goes straight back into school 😁

# Uniform and Prom Shop Open this Saturday #

As you know the Friends of St. Christopher's run a uniform and prom shop situated on the school site .

We will be open on Saturday 1:30pm till 4 this weekend and again on the 22nd.

If you have any uniform to donate we will be really grateful we urgently need ties for all years .

Alternatively if you want to get ahead for the new term without breaking the bank please feel free to either swap out old for new or purchase for a small donation. But remember don't let cost be an issue .

Ps unfortunately for yr 7s we won't have any of the new pe tops for some time (as we rely on donations coming in for stock) but you can still get bottoms shorts skorts etc from us and we still have the old pe kit for yrs 8 and above

We are next open on the 8th Aug from 1:30pm -4pm.

If you have recently left St Christopher's or simply grown out of your uniform please consider donating it to us or swapping for a bigger size
