It's all been about Autumn. 🍂 Today we started out Autumn topic for this month. We are a bit thin on the ground this week with sickness but still had lots of fun in our sensory tray, painting with Autumn colours and singing our Autumn song while the leaves were falling.

Yesterday we had our Jo Jingles session which was all about.
🇺🇸 America.🇺🇸

We travelled in our airplane ✈️ to get there and then once arrived

We visited the Wild West and jumped on the horse🐴 for some walking and galloping.

We danced like Elvis Priestly and showed off our moves. 🎵

We met some magical Mice 🐭 named Mickey and Minnie.

We shook the parachute and bounced with Tigger 🐅

Dance and playgroup with some bubble fun and role play added in.

🥘 Swimming session today was all about food 🥘

Our lesson today was all about food.
1.First we had to sit on the side and wait till our name was called before jumping in the pool.
2. Then we had to pretend to be a pancake by flipping from front to back
3. Next we had to collect all the ice cream flavours up and put them in the right coloured baskets. ( coloured balls)
4. Then we had to use our strong arms to roll our meatballs across the pool.
5. Finally we had to hold onto our pretzels and kick our legs as hard as we could.
6. We also used the shark fins to try and bring our legs up and keep our bodies as flat as sausages in the water.

Excellent listening skills, following instructions and developing great swimming techniques.

Today we have been to Rascals to play, lots of jumping, sliding, climbing and running.

This afternoon we have had a nice walk where we spotted lots of buses, 🚌 cars 🚗 and either saw the helicopter 🚁 flying past.

💦 Monday swimming and we are back. 💦
Today we were using our legs to move across the pool.
Filling buckets and emptying them, trying to recognise numbers in the pool and lots of jumping in.

🍦 This afternoon we have had fun playing with our
new ice cream shop 🍦
We have enjoyed lots of yummy flavours with chocolate and strawberry sauce. Concentrating on peg puzzles and mark making.

We have finished the week with a trip to sea life Manchester.
We had lots of WOWS and smiling children.

🐠 We saw big fish, little fish, stripy fish and
spotty fish.
The fish swam fast and slow. 🐟

🐢 We got to see the giant green turtle we found out that when turtles lay their eggs if the sand is hot then the eggs will hatch into girl babies, and if the sand is cold the eggs will hatch into boy babies. 🐢

🪼 Alongside the fish and turtles there was also stingrays, sharks, seahorses and jellyfish. 🪼

When we come out of sealife we were lucky enough to see the world exhibition.
