🌳 Forest School 🌳
🧚 Fairytale magic fairy 🧚

So today we have been busy making magic potions.. lots of stirring, pouring, colour mixing, imagination and new language.

We built a house for the three little pigs and talked about which was the strongest house.

We planted a bean in our pots and hope it will grow into a beanstalk if we water it everyday.

Made magical wands to grant our spells 🪄

Swung in the hammock which was lots of fun.

Made bowls of porridge for the three bears 🐻

Painted pictures in between the trees. 🌴

And finished with toasting marshmallows around the campfire 🔥

Lots of learning and all the children thought they were just having fun.

This morning before the sun ☀️ came around to the back and it got really hot. We enjoyed lots of water play with our friends in the garden.

🍓 Strawberry Picking. 🍓

Today we had lots of fun looking for juicy red Strawberries
We knew not to pick the white Strawberries as those weren't ready yet.
We all filled our boxes right to the top and are looking forward to taking them home to share with our mummies, daddies, brothers and sisters.

We then had a picnic lunch and a yummy treat for afterwards where we all got to pick our own treat.

Finished with a play on the playground.

Hope all our Daddies are having a lovely Father's Day.

We have finished the week up at Thornton Hall Farm.
Lots of animal noises were made, our big girl got brave and fed the goats and brushed the pony.

Snig Hole park and Farm. The weather was ☀️

This morning we were at our swimming session where we had to float on our backs and follow actions to songs and then when the instructor said go we had to kick our legs across the pool to try and get on a float.

We then had to try and balance on the floats and then jump back in the water 💦

We all did a great job. 👏

This afternoon we have been to the park having lots of fun with our friends.

Today we have had fun in puddles, lots of jumping and splashing. 💦
We counted the ducks and swans on the lake, and worked out which puddles were deep and which were shallow.

Yesterday we took a visit to the Little Lancashire Village for some role play fun.

Bubble 🫧 Planet 🪐

You really didn't disappoint.

🫧 We have had great fun today at Bubble planet popping lots of Bubbles. 🫧

🤣We jumped in the giant ball pit and buried each other. There were a few surprised faces when we walked in that room with the size of the ball pit, but fun was had by all including the grown ups. 🤣

🎈 Had lots of laughs and smiles in the balloon room where we bounced and threw balloons as high as we could. 🎈

🛁 We took a bath with all the rubber ducks 🛁

🌊 Went under the sea and chased the fish and discovered what else lived under the sea 🌊

🫧 Stepped inside a giant bubble, but it kept popping 🫧

✨ We finished walking though the magic mirror room where everything was lit up with lots of colourful lights ✨

🩷 Would definitely recommend and hope we can revisit before it closes. 🩷

Yesterday was our swimming session, where we were trying to coordinate our arms to drive the flamingo 🦩 forwards, backwards and turns.
Our older ones were working on scooping arms and strong legs, while our youngest one was working on balance and floating.

Today we have been to playgroup this morning playing alongside our friends and then this afternoon have had fun in our digger sensory tray pouring and scooping and building up walls.
