Staff Applause please...

What have you done today to inspire….

Shabana is our August Superstar. Shabana works tirelessly to ensure that tasks are completed on time and effectively. She supports the management team with all aspects of the operational running of the nursery.
Shabana also demonstrates good practice as a role model for both the children and staff team.

Today we have been exploring some new resources in the Jungle, these resources enable us to get physical and develop lots of skills, we are strengthening our joints and muscles and learning all about the effects of physical activity on our bodies.
We've also had lots of fun Hula Hooping and doing Yoga!

Staff attended a staff meeting recently where they received updates on nursery policies, we discussed identifying and managing risks both indoors and outdoors and staff worked together in small teams to see who could find all the risks around the nursery.

We also had some fun and had a safeguarding quiz using pom poms and sleigh bells to answer a question and a delicious treat was the prize when the question was answered correctly.

Ashleigh is our superstar for the month of July, Ashleigh has settled well into nursery, she is very enthusiastic, is willing to complete any training requested of her. Ashleigh listens to any advice and guidance given to her by management and always implements this to increase her knowledge and improve her practice. We are glad she has joined our Little Oaks family!
