This week we started with our usual gymnastics class. At home we have been looking and talking about farms, harvest, scarecrows. We’ve incorporated so many parts into play and learnt scarecrows aren’t scary but their job is to scare the birds, we’ve looked at vegetables, harvest, health, size, counted, enjoyed autumn sunshine, tiptoed past sleeping swans, played, dressed up, socialised and most importantly been happy whilst doing it.
Next week is international Space week… countdown begins…….. 🌍 🌙 ⭐ 🪐 🚀

Gymnastic class, the story “the dot”, library visit, free play, the children are into superhero’s so we’ve been discussing powers and incorporating our book the dot with some crafts. Feeding the ducks, muddy puddle walks, decorating leaves with dots, playgroup, lots of stories, disco dancing, making role play buses, imagination play, practicing our names, looking at letters, starting to think about autumn, playgroup, song time. I’ve been really impressed with our story telling and using our imaginations.

Literacy week, we read a story that one of the kiddiwiggles brought about dinosaurs and being careful. We’ve talked letters, practiced our name writing, scissor skills, role play, built all sorts with magnetites, gymnastics, lots of outdoor play, practiced throwing and catching a ball, name hunt, bubbles, story about the wind and autumn and spent time with our friends and made new ones.

Grown up
So much over the holidays, no more high chairs, sleeps. Having them all at almost 3 or over is going to be such fun….. I’ve already been forced to eat poison apples, arrested, sent to jail, prodded, poked and left holding the baby 😂😂😂😂
