🕒 Hours: (37 hrs)
📅 Contract: Term Time

We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to join Adventure Hyndburn.

You’ll support the Nursery Manager in leading a warm, nurturing and high-quality early years setting where children aged 0–5 can learn, grow and thrive.

✨ What you’ll be doing
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery
• Working directly with children in practice
• Helping lead and support a great team
• Supporting safeguarding and quality standards
• Working with families and professionals
• Helping improve and develop practice across the setting

🌱 What we’re looking for
• Full and relevant level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience working in early years
• Some leadership or supervisory experience
• A positive, supportive and flexible approach
• Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding

Keeping everyone fed through the school holidays can be hard, here are some organisations that can makes things a little easier.

Today the children enjoyed an end of term treat.. an ice cream!

What's even more special is a member of the community offered to pay, a big heartfelt thankyou from all of the staff and children at first steps!

Yesterday we celebrated our little Graduates, they had a party, played lots of party games including a firm favourite pass the parcel, took part in lots of dancing and singing and enjoyed their party food.

Is there anything better than a book delivery?! We can’t wait to share our new stories with your little ones!

“There’s a bear in your book” is going to be our new home link book, we are awaiting a special little Teddy to accompany the book home with our little ones to share at bedtime!

At First Steps our children are given every opportunity to develop a love of books!

Each week the children access their class library and choose a book to take home and explore! The children are always excited to choose their next book!

This mornings session is finishing as normal at 12, however we are keeping this under review and monitoring the temperature of the rooms and how the children are coping.

AFTERNOON 1-3 please collect your child at 3 due to extreme temperatures this afternoon.
