We have had an amazing few weeks back! Here are some photos of the Badger’s and Squirrel’s class carrying out activities based on the story Giraffe’s Can’t Dance. They have been painting to music, creating giraffes in many ways, threading, searching for animals for an outdoor hunt, matching, plus so much more! Look at all those happy faces 😊

Happy National Teaching Assistants’ Day!

Today we would like to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful Teaching Assistants for everything they do each day. Their kindness, dedication, patience and support help our children to learn, grow and thrive.
From encouraging confidence and independence to providing care, guidance and encouragement, they make a real difference to the lives of our children and families every day.
Thank you for being such an important part of our Lee Royd Nursery School team!

It has been wonderful to welcome both our returning children and our new starters over the last 2 weeks. Everyone has settled in incredibly well, making new friends, exploring the environment and enjoying lots of fun learning experiences. We are so proud of how confidently and positively the children have settled back into nursery life, and we're looking forward to an exciting year ahead!
