🎨✨ TOMORROW — MINI ARTISTS STUDIO! ✨🎨

Calling all little creatives! 💕🌈

Tomorrow’s Mini Artists Studio at The Acorn is all about giving children the freedom to paint, draw, experiment and create in their own way.

There’s no “right” picture to copy and no pressure to make anything perfect, just lots of colour, imagination and hands-on fun. 🖌️💛

We’ll have:
🎨 Painting and drawing
🌈 Fun creative prompts
✨ Inspiration stations
🖍️ Lots of different materials to explore
💜 Plenty of encouragement along the way

Perfect for children who love making things, doodling, painting… or just getting wonderfully messy! 😂

Carbon monoxide (CO) is known as the silent killer. The highly poisonous gas can kill quickly and without warning, as you cannot see it, taste it, or smell it.

Young children are especially vulnerable to the effects of CO and may experience symptoms sooner than a healthy adult. So,

• Take a CO alarm on holiday with you
• Enjoy your BBQs safely by keeping grills and BBQ equipment well away from tents and other enclosed spaces.
• Remember, even if they are cooling down, the risk from BBQs and gas heaters persists
• If you suspect carbon monoxide poisoning go outside into the fresh air straight away and seek medical attention.

Today was our last day before the summer holidays, and we would like to wish all the children and families leaving Fairfield the very best of luck as they begin their exciting journey to school.

We have loved sharing this special time with you and your children. So many wonderful memories have been made, and it has been a privilege to watch them learn, grow and flourish during their time with us. Please keep in touch, let us know how you are getting on at school, and don't forget to send us photos of your new uniforms! 💚

Today we also said goodbye to our Headteacher, Sacha, who is retiring after 20 years at Fairfield. Throughout her time here, Sacha has supported countless children and families and has helped shape Fairfield into the nurturing and successful setting it is today. We will miss her greatly and would like to thank her for everything she has done for our community. 💚

Fairfield Nursery School is now closed for the summer holidays. We look forward to welcoming our current children back on Thursday 3rd September and meeting our new children and families in September.

On Wednesday, we enjoyed a wonderful Family Park Day at Rhyddings Park. Our families joined us for a range of exciting activities, including sports games, parachute fun, scavenger hunts, a picnic, and time exploring and playing in the park. It was lovely to spend quality time together outdoors, creating special memories. Thank you to all the families who joined us – we hope you had a fantastic time and enjoyed the day as much as we did! 😊🌳🏃‍♀️
