YNot Aspire is a local charity who exist to support the young people of Hyndburn. We are incredibly impressed (and a teeny bit scared!) that they are doing a skydive to raise money. YNot have helped hundreds of pupils to thrive and we hope their daredevil undertaking raises enough money for them to continue their essential work!

Year 11s will be able to collect GCSE results from 9am on Thursday 20th August. 🤞

We’re very proud to celebrate former student Lewis Platt, who has signed as a first-year scholar with Rochdale AFC.
A talented centre-back and captain of Rochdale’s Under-16s last season, Lewis has already earned recognition with a First Team pre-season call-up. As he awaits his GCSE results, we wish him every success both on and off the pitch.
Well done, Lewis.

This week’s summer school has been great! It has allowed our new year 7s to get to know the school and each other, and to showcase their skills and talents. It has been very impressive to see the children work hard to design and build their own monster before today going to watch Minions and Monsters 😊

We can’t wait to see our new year 7s again for day 2 of Monsters and Minions summer school 😊

We could not be prouder of Lacey in year 9. She has been taken on as number 1 goalkeeper for the district football team next season! ⚽️
Not only is Lacey a formidable footballer, but she also won her discus event in the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Athletics competition this term at Witton Park. All in all, Lacey has demonstrated that she is a real star both inside and outside the classroom, and we think she is fantastic! 🌟 🌟 🌟
