The Meadows Childcare

🍃 The children have been learning about “things that go.” We explored different types of transport, talked about how they move, and shared our ideas and experiences. 🚗✈️🚂🛶🍃

🍃 We had a lovely time at Adventure City with our friends from Fluffy Ducks Childcare - Hygge In The Early Years accredited setting. 🐘🍃

🍃We love The Jump Works soft play! We have so much fun with all of our friends!🐘🍃

🍃 Exploring numbers and quantity. The children counted the same quantity of blocks and matched them to the correct numeral. We then enjoyed reading the number book, building with the blocks and counting the towers we made.🐘🍃

🍃 Our new van! 🚐

The children are absolutely loving our new transport! Especially the “magic” 🌟 doors! (Electric 😂) but, I think my favourite part is THE HUGE BOOT! 🐘🍃

Shapes! 🔺🟦🟠

Today we have been looking at shapes, the children have been on a shape hunt around the playroom, searching for different shapes! The children explored a variety of 2D shapes, they enjoyed matching shapes and comparing how many sides and corners each shape has, they also enjoyed playing with the nuts and bolts, working on their fine motor skills!🔺🟦🟠

The children enjoyed playing pass the parcel, pin the bucket on the excavator and finding all the goodies inside the piñata! 🎉 🥳

☀️ We are loving the sunshine and enjoying lots of outdoor fun (and maybe some hiding in the shade😆) with our friends from Leanne's Little Learners - Childminding 🐘☀️

🍃Our littlest ones in the group have been learning the names and sounds of farm animals. They enjoyed making animal noises, joining in with songs, reading and playing with the animals 🐄🐑🐖🐔🍃
