We are delighted to celebrate a record breaking set of GCSE results!

There have been some particularly pleasing outcomes in English and mathematics, alongside a strong performance across the curriculum. 👏📈

It has also been fantastic to see a significant number of pupils achieving the highest grades of 9–7, highlighting the hard work, commitment and determination of our pupils and the dedication of our staff. 🌟

💙✨ As we come to the end of the academic year, we would like to take a moment to thank the members of staff who are leaving St Christopher's and wish them every success for the future.

After decades of dedicated service, we say a fond farewell to Mrs Kenyon, who retires after nearly thirty years, and Mr Hardwick, who retires after twenty-five years. Their commitment, care and contribution to countless generations of pupils have left a lasting legacy, and we thank them both for everything they have given to our school community. 🌟👏

We also wish Mr Ramshaw all the very best as he embarks on a new adventure in sunnier climates after two fantastic years teaching PE. ☀️🏃‍♂️

A huge thank you to Mr Brady, who joined us for maternity cover this year and made a real impact on our Sixth Form students through his enthusiasm and dedication. 🎓

Finally, we wish Mr Jalgaonker every success as he moves on after four years as our IT Technicians to further his career. 💻

We are incredibly grateful to each of them, and to all the staff who have moved on during the course of this academic year, for everything they have contributed to St Christopher's. Thank you for your hard work, commitment and friendship.

Today, our whole school community came together for one of the special moments in the St Christopher’s calendar — Founders’ Day. ✝️🙏

This important occasion gives us the opportunity to reflect on who we are, why we exist and the vision that has guided our school for generations: to carry Christ, inspired by the meaning of the name St Christopher, and to continue providing a Christian education for families across East Lancashire.

In recent years, our Founders’ Day celebration has been marked by a service of Holy Communion — a fitting way to bring our community together and reflect on the values, faith and purpose at the heart of our school. ☀️🌿
