Your Level 3 Counselling was just the beginning…

Take the next step and become a qualified counsellor.

The Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Practice (HTQ) helps you develop the skills, experience and confidence needed for professional practice.
• Study one day a week
• Complete 100 hours of supervised counselling placement
• Learn from qualified, experienced, practising counsellors
• Become confident and fit to practise - not simply qualified on paper

Places are limited and you must have completed a face-to-face Level 3 Counselling qualification as well as hold a degree in any subject.

You’ve laid the foundations. Now build your future:

Spotted these new badges on any lanyards yet?

If you're studying an IoT course here, you're part of something bigger - the Lancashire and Cumbria Institute of Technology

That gives you access to:

• Cross-college events to connect and learn beyond your classroom
• Invitation-only visits to partner universities and other IoTs
• Competitions to test your skills and stand out
• Exclusive opportunities you won't find anywhere else

Wear your magnetic IoT badge with pride. It marks you out as an Institute of Technology student because you've earned that place.

You should also be receiving some additional printed information and a presentation explaining all the advantages that studying an IoT course brings.

No badge yet? Pop by ELUC reception at Accrington and Rossendale College (ARC) and pick yours up.

Already working in a school or nursery? Turn your experience into a degree.

The BA (Hons) Education top-up lets you choose the pathway that suits your passion:
• Early Years: For those working with children aged 0–5, the years that shape everything.
• Teaching & Learning: For those supporting learners aged 5–19, helping them find their own direction.

If you don’t already have a level 5 qualification, don’t worry. We also have a foundation degree in the same pathways.

This qualification is a step in the right direction if you want to become a primary teacher or teacher in further education.

Explore both pathways and find yours:
