MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING
This year, our Coffee Morning is held in loving memory of our dear friend and retired colleague, Audrey Rushton.

Audrey sadly passed away recently after courageously facing cancer over the past few years. She was a cherished part of our team and community, known for her warmth, kindness, and sense of humour. Audrey touched the lives of so many, and we feel honoured to celebrate her life and legacy through this event.

We want to welcome colleagues, pupils and parents past and present to gather, not only to raise vital funds for cancer support but also to remember Audrey and the many others who have been affected by this disease.

Your support today means more than ever.

Donations of cakes or biscuits (to Mrs O’Hare on Thursday 25th) would also be greatly appreciated.

The Year 6 children had the best time last week!

Year 6 are still enjoying Hothersall Lodge. Lots of smiles after canoeing and orienteering this morning. The wifi isn't letting us upload pictures easily. We'll keep trying!

The Year 6s have arrived safely at Hothersall Lodge and are having lunch before their first activities.

Below are the dates for the open evening for all our local high schools. If your child is in Year 6, it is important to attend these to make sure you pick the right school for your child.

Year 1 have had a wonderful day visiting Blackburn museum on the train. 🚆🚂

Our Aspirations Week was a huge success! Thanks to the visitors who talked about their jobs and inspired our children over the week. The children and staff looked amazing today for our Dress as a Career Day!

The girls football team showed real resilience in their league games and worked well as a team! Well done girls! We're very proud of how well you did! ⚽️

Year 6 and Year 2 have had Fire Safety talks. There were given some very important information about staying safe🧑‍🚒

All children were visited by our school nursing team to take part in activities and discussions about Oral Health 😁👩‍⚕️ They showed how much they knew about keeping their teeth and mouths healthy.

Year 6 have enjoyed their final morning at Hothersall Lodge. Some have been orienteering and others have been climbing and zip lining!
