Working as part of One Planet Abingdon, we run free, beginner-friendly cooking classes that bring people together.

We focus on making the most of ingredients, reducing food waste, lowering food bills, and cooking simple, nutritious meals.

May’s recipes have started and it’s Mezze time! 🥒🍅🍄‍🟫🧄

We made a cucumber, dill and mint salad, carrot dip with dill and parsley, rice with orzo, roasted harissa vegetables, two houmous’ and halloumi! 🧡🙌🌎

Well done to everyone for their efforts, it was a feast! The Cook & Connect team are looking forward to next week’s session to do it all over again 🥰

We only released the dates for our May recipe 3 DAYS AGO and we only have ONE SPACE LEFT already!! 🥰🧡🙌

We’re building a community, we can feel it 😘

We did Loaded Homemade Chips last week, and will again this Tuesday 28th April and we have ONE space left!

Homemade chips, bean chilli, guacamole and soured cream. Cheese on top and tortillas on the side. YUM! We love seeing empty plates and happy people at Cook & Connect 🧡🍽️

We have some spaces left on the 28th April Cook & Connect class but 21st April is fully booked 🎉💃🏼

So what is Cook & Connect?

Arrive at 10am and there will be time to settle in and have a hot drink. Then we do around an hour or so of cooking at our own stations, with Head Chef demonstrating as we go, then we sit down to eat together, and you get to take home what you have leftover 🤤😋 (bring a box for this!)

Suitable for all ages (under 16s to be accompanied by an adult) 🧡 everyone is welcome.

We provide all the equipment and food you will need.
