In Writing, Year 6 have continued working on their travel reviews of a land of their choice, inspired by Strange Worlds Travel Agency. It has been wonderful to see their creativity shine through as they have worked hard to engage and entertain their readers. The children have not only been learning how to use accurate bullet points and parentheses effectively, but they have also focused on how to publish their work to a high standard. We have been incredibly impressed by the care, presentation and pride that they are taking in their final pieces.

In Year 3, some children brought in some very impressive homemade Stonehenge models. Such great creativity, effort and care went into making them. Thank you to everyone who supported these projects at home.

In the Forest, Year 2 investigated how animals use their woodland habitat for food and shelter, and what predators they might have.

The children in Nursery had a very exciting visit from the Mess Fairy last week who challenged them to sort the mess by colours!

They have also loved playing with the sand in the tuff tray, using the trucks to manoeuvre the sand.

In Maths, Year 6 have been focusing on reading and writing numbers up to 10,000,000. The children have worked extremely hard and have shown great progress in understanding place value and using mathematical vocabulary accurately.

A gentle reminder that all children and adults must dismount bicycles and scooters at the bottom of the school driveway and walk them onto the school site. This is an important safety measure to help keep everyone safe during our busy drop-off and collection times.

We have a number of children and adults who require adaptations to meet their needs and are therefore driven onto the school site. With vehicles moving along the driveway, it can become unsafe for those continuing to ride scooters or bicycles.

Please help us keep our community safe by also driving carefully, slowing down near the school, and being mindful of pedestrians at all times.

Pass this message on to anyone who may collect or drop off your child, so that everyone is aware of our safety expectations.

Thank you for your support and cooperation in helping us keep all members of our school community safe.
