We love it when it all comes together.

The many hours of volunteering that every SHSK PA member gives — fundraising and organising events to support our Helkats and their wider community — truly feel worthwhile when we see the impact.

One such moment was Emily’s recent presentation to the whole school, sharing how she used the SHSK PA Voluntary Service Grant. Emily was awarded £1,500 by the committee for her project focused on ecological preservation and community involvement in the Chitawan Community Forest in Nepal during summer 2025.

Emily’s application was exceptional and the PA committee were delighted to support her project.

Applications for this year’s Voluntary Service Grant are now open and all students are encouraged to apply. The deadline is Monday 27 April.
