Like most of the world we have watched, wondered and enjoyed the Artimus Mission

Just as they are now back on earth we are back in the office on Monday after lots of brilliant Easter Holiday Camps

We aren't taking a rest though you will find us out and about ...
- Providing fabulous After-school Clubs and Assemblies
- Presenting two shows on Bank Holiday Monday
- Preparing for Half Term Camps
- Participating in Birthday Party by providing brilliant entertainment

But we are still more than happy to answer any questions and tell you more about what we do and how we can help you Brighten Up Science

This Easter our eggs-periment was to find the most eggs-cellent chocolate mini egg 🍫 🥚

Our eggs-perts taste tested samples from Aldi, Cadbury, Lidl, M&S, Mummy Meegz (vegan), and Waitrose 😋

It certainly has in the Bright Sparks Science world. We are packed and ready to go on the road for the next two weeks running our Holiday Camps. We are in a different place each day and there are still some spaces.

As well as being out on the road with Birthday Parties this weekend and also After School Clubs in new schools this term.

It was great to see people at the Holiday Camps and the Brookes Science Bazaar last week.

We are back into the new year with a bang.
Schools science workshops all day today
After school clubs happening all week
And 3 birthday parties to round off the week.

Just as well over the break we took all the pins and badges off our lab coats and gave them a wash as they are going to be well used

As we leave 2025 we wanted to wish you all Happy New Year

And celebrating 80 years of Harwell
So if you live in South Oxfordshire you might be fortunate enough to see this

We hope everyone’s looking forward to celebrating the New Year tonight ✨

Just a little reminder that tomorrow night (New Year’s Day) from 5 – 9pm, the UK’s most powerful display laser will shine from the heart of the iconic , creating The Beam, a vertical pillar of light visible across the region. Weather permitting, it will reach up to 8km into the night sky.

So if you're in the area, whether you’re on your doorstep, at a favourite viewpoint along The Ridgeway, or watching from the rugby fields on campus, take a moment to look up 👀
