Saturday Reception & Office Assistant

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and organised person aged 16+ to join our dance school as a Saturday Reception / Office Assistant.

Dance experience is essential, as you’ll be working in a busy dance-school environment and will need to understand the day-to-day running of classes and be familiar with dance terminology and routines.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is confident speaking to parents and is happy working independently while the teacher is teaching.

Full training will be provided on our booking system and administrative procedures.

📋 What you’ll be doing

While the teacher is teaching, you’ll be based at the reception desk and help with:
Welcoming and assisting parents and students
Answering general questions and enquiries
Completing paperwork and general administration
Using our booking system to manage bookings and information
Taking payments where required
Keeping the reception area organised
Helping the morning run smoothly

⭐ We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced in dance – this is essential
Friendly, approachable and confident with parents
Organised and reliable
Comfortable using a computer and learning new systems
Able to work independently and use their initiative- Dance teacher will be onsite at all times.
Punctual and professional
Patient and happy working around children and families
Hours: Saturdays, 8:45am–12:30pm
Age: 16+
Training: Full training provided
Interviews: Friday 4th September

Yesterday, I headed over to help with the CAN show, and wow it was truly wonderful.
