Part of Toastmasters International, this friendly Speakers Club meets on 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at the King's Head and Bell, Abingdon (Charles Room, sorry that this venue has no step-free access). Abingdon Speakers Club Celebrates 30 Years — Past and New Members Welcome

Abingdon Speakers Club is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special meeting on Wednesday 21 January at 7:30pm, held upstairs in the King Charles Room at the King’s Head & Bell pub, East St Helen Street, Abingdon.

Founded in 1996, the club has helped people from all walks of life build confidence in public speaking, communication, and leadership. The club is part of Toastmasters International, a worldwide organisation that offers a structured, supportive programme and opportunities to take part in local, national, and international speaking competitions.
The anniversary evening will celebrate the club’s history and achievements as well as future aspirations. It is open to past members, guests, and anyone curious about improving their speaking skills. Abingdon Speakers Club currently has 16 members and is keen to welcome new ones.

The club normally meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, with meetings starting at 7:30pm (arrive from 7:15pm).
Visitors are always welcome.
