Quest for Learning

Quest for Learning Quest for Learning is an education charity based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. Our work is all about changing the life chances of the most disadvantaged.

Our mission is to inspire young minds by providing quality teaching and training that supports children in mastering literacy and numeracy skills. In our literacy work, we aim to give children better life chances by developing their reading and writing skills. We have specialised tutors working with hundreds of disadvantaged children in primary schools each year in areas of high deprivation. We also run training for teachers and teaching assistants based on our specialised teaching. In our numeracy work, we have developed a mental maths resource, called NumSkills, to work directly with children and families. It aims to improve the attainment of children struggling with mental maths (or fluency in mental methods) and who are disengaged with numeracy.
