A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported the Scholastic Book Fair last term. We raised an amazing £235, which will be spent on lovely new books for Thameside!

We would still welcome donations of nearly new books to use as prizes and in classrooms. If you’re having a summer clear-out, please consider donating any good-quality children’s books. Donations can be dropped off at the school office at any time.

Thanks to your incredible generosity and community spirit, we raised an amazing £579 for our school! 🎉👏

Every pound raised helps us continue to provide valuable opportunities, resources, and experiences for our children. We are so grateful for the support of our wonderful school community.

Artwork by Thameside is on display this weekend at the Wantage Children's Books Festival in the Beacon.

The colourful and creative entries were inspired by 'Is Dot in the House?' (.books ) and 'Amazing' () and were part of the Cambrian Learning Trust's 'Big Book Share', celebrating the National Year of Reading. 📚📚

A big well done to our amazing Year 6 pupils for all their hard work during SATs this week. You’ve shown resilience, determination and a fantastic attitude — we are so proud of everything you’ve achieved. You have been role models for our school values every step of the way.

Our wonderful Miss Polley begins her maternity leave on 18th May, so this evening we celebrated her exciting new chapter with a lovely baby shower — complete with cakes, games, and baby predictions! 👶🍼✨

A special mention to Mrs Bayliss for the beautiful cake and Mrs Russell for organising! 🎂
